Feed Silo Optimization 20.20

In 2020, Growket launches an optimization of our feed silo according to EUROCODE 1.4. The technical project, which has been developed in last months, has reached an optimized structure of the silo, keeping design under norm EU 1.4. Now we may offer under request, calculation of different seismic coefficients, snow load & wind speed, and possibility to calculate in other norms. The objective is increase the competitiveness of the company’s key product, silo, in a continuous improvement process.

In 2017, our feed silo was redesigned according to EUROCODE 1.4 norm. We are the first silo manufacturer to obtain this European normative. Our range silos was validated from 1,80 m. to 3,80 m. diameter through the development of a FEM (Finite Element Methodology).

In 2014, the range of silos has been extended, offering 3.80 meters diameter with 45º and 60º hopper and increasing the capacity up to 85 m3. Regarding raw materials, Growket increased steel coating, setting the standard coating in Z600, 37 per cent more protection than others manufacturers.

In 2013, we obtain CE marking, becoming to the first silo manufacturer with this certification, Symaga Group manufactures industrial and feed silo according to EN-1090, guaranteeing a complete reliability in the production

Growket, Symaga Group offers a feed silo range according to EUROCODE with capacities from 4.77 m3 to 85 m3, diameters of 1.8, 2.10, 2.55, 2.75, 3.20 and 3.80m and with hoppers of 45º, 60º and 67º. In order to complete feed silo, we offer a line of accessories and flex auger, chain, and auger transport system.

Growket belong to Symaga Group, a top worldwide leader in manufacturing industrial silos made of galvanized corrugated steel. Backed by 35 years of experience, state of art production and technical team that allow to adapt the design, capacity of silo and transport system on demand. In Symaga Group we work to position Growket, as one of the main feed silo manufacture of corrugated steel and transport system.
